Hello friends,

I recently returned from the Canadian Psychedelic Summit and I am excited to share my personal experience with you here. It was a powerful journey facilitated primarily by Kim Haxton and I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to attend again for the third consecutive year.

Before jumping in, a warm welcome to the 70 new subscribers that have joined here. It’s great to have you all and I am grateful that you have decided to tune in.

Just a heads up, if you are a free subscriber you will not be able to access this full edition. Each newsletter alternates between free and paid with the paid editions being focussed more on my behind-the-scenes journey building and growing The Flying Sage.

Mixed Feelings Going In

The Canadian Psychedelic Summit started three years ago as a project by MAPS Canada in collaboration with Hollyhock. After the first year, the program switched primary hands over to Hollyhock with their team now spearheading the organizing for the past two years.

It has been beautiful for me to witness the evolution of the summit as I had actually come up with the name and helped to curate the first year’s programming back when I worked with MAPS Canada. The program was originally the idea-child of Scott Bernstein who was the Executive Director at the time after Mark Haden stepped down.

To be honest though, I was a bit reluctant to attend this year for three different reasons. Here they are…
